Will you help us reach our current goal to raise $6,000 for exterior repairs and painting needed to preserve our transitional home for years to come?
Our historic home has been steadily undergoing necessary renovations and repairs to ensure an efficient and comfortable space for our residents to enjoy while they heal from the trauma and abuse they have suffered. Since 2013, 90 women and 59 children have participated in our recovery program.
In the last few years, we've transitioned all plumbing from galvanized to PVC; replaced an outdated boiler with a tankless one; upgraded to a larger water heater; renovated a bathroom and flooring; rehabbed all bedrooms and shared living spaces; installed new windows; installed new fencing; got a new roof; and have done lower level exterior painting and deck rehabilitation.
We've had one more thing on our list - Repair of the damaged wood trim/painting of the second story of our home plus installation of a chimney cap and repair of an exhaust pipe on the roof.
